Troubled ferry towed to wharf

Tue Jul 28 10:34:51 CEST 2015 Timsen

The "Tustna" serving between Tidsdal and Linge got in trouble in the afternoon of July 27, 2015, on the Storfjord. The ship had problems with the cooling water system and went adrift at 4.30 p.m. in the middle of the fjord. The ferry "Aukra" took the ship alongside and towed it to the wharf in Eidsdal. During that time only the "Geiranger" maintained the ferry traffic. At 5 p.m. the "Tustna" was docked inside Valldal, but it was hoped she would be back on July 28.
