18 injured in allision in Rotterdam

On April 16, 2019, at 11.45 a.m. the "Alina" was in collision with the river cruise ship "Viking Skadi" on the New Maas in Rotterdam which had only its crew on board. 203 passengers and 48 crew members were on board the "Alina". The vast majority were Germans. There were also 48 Austrians, two Swiss and two residents of the Dominican Republic on board. Seven people aboard the "Alina" were severly, 11 slight injured when the vessel bumped with its stern into the mid body of the "Viling Skadi" that was moored at the Eastern quay. The injured were treated by ambulance personnel and fire rescue before seven people with fractures and back complaints were taken to the hospital. All of the injured were Germans. The "Alina" which had suffered damage to the stern berthed after the accident. The damage had yet to be assessed. The "Alina" sailed from Rotterdam at 8.30 p.m. and berthed in Ghent on April 17 at 6.30 a.m. before continuing to Colonia. Medevac in Enkhuizen

In the morning of May 26, 2016, at 7.30 a.m. a passenger of the "Alina" was medevaced in Enkhuizen and taken to the Westfriesgasthuis in Hoorn with cardial problems. The river cruise ship was en route from Amsterdam via Lelystad to Medemblik and was six miles NE of Enkhuizen at that time. Both boats from the KNRM in Enkhuizen were called and treated the man with first aid, but it was decided that the man would be taken ashore directely as the ship was already near Enkhuizen. The lifeboat "Watersport" transferred medical personnel onto the river cruise ship in the meantime. Once ashore, the man transferred by ambulance to the hospital. Collision on the Rhine

In the evening of Dec 25, 2015, at 11 p.m. the "Alina" (EU-No.: 7001934) was in collision with an unlaoded tanker in Düsseldorf. The river cruise ship was turning around on the Rhine in order to berth, and the tanker had misjudged the length of the ship. The tanker suffered no damage, on the "Alina a ladder was torn off at the starboard side. The ship continued to Arnheim on Dec 26.
