Belt conveyor serving bulkcarrier caught fire

During loading operations the engine of the belt conveyor serving the "Blumenau" caught fire in the foremidday hours of Mar 7, 2015, at berth 17 in the grain port of Rostock due to a technical malfunction. Several engines of the fire rescue were on scene to tackle the fire. The ship did not suffer damage. The cause of the fire was a technical malfunction, the damage had yet to be assessed.
