Allision in Rostock
On July 4, 2019, at 2 a.m. the"Vilm" allided with the passenger m/v "Baltica" during the berthing manoever in the fishing port of Rostock. The ship had been caught by strong wind gusts and was pushed against the moored passenger vessel after also the port side engine failed. Both ships suffered slight damage above the waterline. The police in Rostock launched an investigation.
