Ship stuck on Corinth Canal

On Nov 25, 2019, the 'Vera Rose" ran aground in the Corinth Canal at the bridge in Isthmia while transiting the canal in western direction. A tug refloated the ship within an hour, and it continued the voyage from Istanbul to Sibenik with an ETA as of Nov 28. Oil spill during bunkering operation

Fuel leaked over board from the "Athina P" during bunkering operations in Elevsis on Jan 26, 2016. She was receiving fuel from the tanker "Agia Kiriaki" when the leak occurred. An oil slick of some 100 square meters was to be removed by a cleanup company. The masters and chief engineers of both vessels were detained for investigation.
