Sat Jul 22 14:09:52 CEST 2017 Timsen

On the Danube near Metten the "Sveti Ilia" ran aground on July 21, 2017 at 9 a.m. The barge got stuck at the height of the highway bridge when sailing downstream in the direction of Passau. The watger police filed a complaint against the master because he had made an unauthorized attempt to refloat the ship with own power. The passing shipping traffic was not affected.
