Medevac off Port Fourchon
The US Coast Guard medevaced a crew member from the 'Solitaire' on May 16, 2023, approximately 13 nautical miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Coast Guard Eighth District and Coast Guard Sector New Orleans command center watchstanders received a report at approximately noon from the pipe layer of a 65-year-old male crew member who was experiencing heart attack-like symptoms. Sector New Orleans watchstanders diverted a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew to assist. The aircrew arrived on scene, hoisted the crewmember, and transported him to University Medical Center in New Orleans. The patient was last reported in stable condition.

The US Coast Guard medevaced a crew member from the 'Solitaire' approximately 15 miles south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana, on Arpil 23, 2023. Coast Guard Eighth District and Coast Guard Sector New Orleans command center watchstanders received a report on April 22 at approximately 10 p.m.that a 32-year-old male crew member was suffering from severe abdominal pain. Sector New Orleans watchstanders coordinated the launch of a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to assist. It arrived on scene just after midnight , hoisted the patient and transported him to University Medical Center in New Orleans. He was last reported in stable condition.

The US Coast Guard medevaced a crew member of the 'Solitaire' on March 21, 2023, approximately 15 miles off Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Coast Guard Sector New Orleans watchstanders received a call at 7:54 p.m. from the vessel, stating a crew member was experiencing seizure-like symptoms. Watchstanders coordinated the launch of a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew to assist. The helicopter crew arrived on scene, hoisted the crewmember, and transferred the crewmember to University Medical Center New Orleans.
