Several swimmers rescued in the Bay of Ceuta

The Guardia Civil requested support for swimmers in the southern Bay of Ceuta on the night of Aug 11, 2024, who were trying to cross the border. The CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Atria' and the 'Hipatia' of the Red Cross Ceuta, which rescued 24 people from the water, They were transferred to units of the Civil Guard, who had rescued numerous people themselves. SAR boat recovered semi sunken jet ski

Boat towed to Ceuta

The 'Concha' with two crew members on board suffered steering problems in the apprach of Ceuta port and required assistance on Nov 29, 2022. The CCS Tarifa of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Atria' to the scene, which took the boat in tow and pulled it to the Ceuta marina.
