Main engine problem off Rame Head

The 'Oslo Wave 3', en route from Hamina to Bejaia with 13 crew members and 11400 metric tonnes of timber as cargo on board, suffered a problem with the thermal oil in the main engine in pos. 49 37 00 N, 004 03 01 W, 44,2 nautical miles off Rame Head on Feb 22, 2023, at around 10 a.m. UTC. At 12.40 p.m. the defect had been repaired, and the vessel continued the voyage with an ETA as of Feb 27.

Cargo ship suffered pump damage

The "Oslo Wave 3", en route from Oulu to Alexandria suffered a crack in its lube oil pipe in the engine room in position 51 13 06 N, 001 44 03 E on Feb 28, 2019, at 2.10 a.m. The vessel was disabled due to the subsequent lack of engine power. The crew conducted repair works which were completed by 07.45 a.m., and the ship resumed its voyage, ETA March 11.
