OPTIMUS 9105152

Tue Dec 14 18:36:14 CET 2010 Timsen

The "Ostsee" on Dec 14 saved the only survivor of the sinking of the Dutch clammer "Frisa - HA 38", 376 dwt (IMO: 5155278) off Terschelling with a crew of three, all from Groningen. One Lynx-helicopter of the base De Kooy dropped a doctor aboard the "Ostsee" and a navy diver on the keel of the "Frisia" which was drifting upside down in 2-m-waves. After the only man who was saved was reanimated he was flown to a hospital at Leeuwarden. The SAR-operation was stopped meanwhile and a salvage operation prepared.
