Grounding on Svir river
The "Omsky-141" with 12 crew members on board ran agrond on Oct 3, 2021, on the Svir river, one kilometer from the village of Kezoruchai and 1,5 kilometers from the quay of the Podporozhsky river port with a cargo of 2,700 tons of timber. The fairway was not blocked, and no oil spill was reported. The ship was stuck on the right edge. Ships were asked to navigate with increased safety measures and speed limits.
Grounding on Svir
The "Omskiy 141" ran aground on the river Svir at kilometer mark 960 on Aug 16, 2016, at 8 a.m.. The vessel with a cargo of 3,000 tons of steel was en route from St. Petersburg to Cherepovets. It suffered a breach in the forepeak in a ballast tank and water ingress.
