Crew member lost over board

The 'Ever Lifting', en route from Itajaj, lost a man overboard about 12 nautical miles south of Pirapolis, east of Montevideo. An SAR operation was launched with deployment of helicopters, boats from nearby ports including the Navy minesweeper 'Temerario'. The crew wasn’t found, and late on Aug 29 the container ship berthed at the container terminal in Montevideo.

Melina Travlos and her dry bulk outfit Neptune Dry Management have returned to Japan’s KN Maritime to acquire their second ultramax bulker, shipbroking sources have revealed, paying around $23m for 2016-built ultramax Loch Ness.
