Grounding on Wester Scheldt
Im the morning of Dec 4, 2020, the 'Rapido', 1090 ts (EU-No.: 02312567), enroute from Antwerp to St.Pieters Leeuw, ran agruond on the Wester Scheldt, during a strong southwest wind, on the Hoofdplaat and has been stuck on the plate in pos. 51° 23.38' N 003° 37.25' E since. The situation was currently being monitored, and an attempt will probably be made at the next high tide to refloat the ship with the tug 'Multratug 22' (IMO: 8662787).
