Ferry suffered technical issue
The 'Lochnevis', serving on the route Ardmhor (Barra) - Eriskay suffered a technical issue on Jan 13 in Ardmhor. As a consequence, the scheduled sailing at 09:15 a.m. from Ardmhor and the departure att 10:10 a.m.from Eriskay had to be cancelled. After the issue was resolved, the ferry resumed its service with the 11:10 a.m. sailing departing Ardmhor.
Ferry drydocked for engine repairs
The 'Lochnevis', serving on the route Mallaig-Armadale, has been removed from service and entered dry dock of the Dales Marine Service in Troon on Dec 14 to resolve the technical issue affecting the port side main engine. The ferry boat 'Julie-Ann' was inserted to operatea passenger-only charter until further notice and until Jan 10, 2025, at least. Sailings cancelled due to ongoing engine issue
Due to the ongoing issue with the 'Lochnevis’ port side main engine, the following sailings have been cancelled on Dec 28: Departure Mallaig 08:40 a.m. Departure Armadale 09:25 a.m. The ferry 'Loch Bhrusda' operated the following timetable: Departure Mallaig 3:45 p.m. Departure Armadale 4:45 p.m. On Dec 30, the 'Loch Bhrusda' and 'Larven' operate an amended timetable.
