Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
The 'Lochnevis', while serving the route Mallaig-Armadale, suffered a technical problem at Mallaig on Dec 30, 2021. As a result, the service has been suspended until further notice.
Ferry sailings disrupted
Due to a technical issue with the fast rescue craft of the 'Lochnevis' on Nov 24, 2021, the following sailings have been cancelled: Depart Mallaig - 4 p.m.# Depart Armadale - 4.45 p.m. Engineers were working to resolve this issue. All sailings were liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice. On nov 25 the following sailings are cancelled: Depart Mallaig – 4:10 p.m. Depart Armadale – 4:55 p.m. A passenger only charter will operate for booked passengers.
Ferry suffered stern ramp trouble
The 'Lochnevis' suffered technical problems with the stern ramp, at Mallaig on Oct 9, 2021. The vessel operated a schedule with the following sailings for passengers only: departure from Mallaig at 09.10 a.m. departure from Canna at 11.35 a.m.
