Following a legal dispute between the ship owner and a few foreign oil firms, the Bombay High Court in February 2010 passed orders to the Indian ports not to permit the ship to be anchored. On February 11, the vessel came to the private port carrying about 8,400 tonnes of ceramic clay. As the authorities denied entry, the vessel was illegally anchored about five miles away from the port.
