Deadly fall on tanker of Cherbourg

On Aug 1, 2013 at 9:15 p.m., the "Aegean Faith" requested medical assistance of the CROSS Joburg after one of the crew members had suffered a fall 18 miles north of Cherbourg at the time of the accident. CROSS Joburg organizes a conference call with the maritime medical coordination (SCMM) Le Havre which advised a medical evacuation by helicopter immediately.
