On June 28, 2010, at 5.1.5 p.m. heavy fuel was spilt from the starboard side of the “Guo Dian 9” as the vessel was bunkering from the bunker tanker “Gogland” in St. Petersburg port on Lesnoy Mol road. The oil covered an area of 50 sq meters, the two anti pollution vessels “Alfarad” and “Karat 2” boomed the spill and proceeded with oil collection, by 8.50 p.m. 0.5 cubic meter oily water were collected.
