Ship in embankment of Kiel Canal

Enroute from Copenhagen to Hamburg the "Morsum" ran into the embankment of the Kiel Canal on Jan 24, 2015, at 9.30. It got stuck off the Ferry pt. Landwehr, but was able to back off with own power. The "Morsum" then continued ist westbound transit of the waterway.

The "Morsum" suffered an engine blackout in the Kiel Canal near Levensau in the morning of Nov 6 while enroute Rotterdam-Klaipeda.
