Grounding at Halsøyrbåen
The 'Dykkerservice 5' ran aground on Aug 11, 2021, at 05.15 a.m. with three people on board at Halsøyrbåen off Vågsøy in the Kinn municipality. No one was injured in the incident. The lifeboat 'Bergen Kreds' was sent out to assist, while the fire brigade and the shipping company were iattending too. At around 08.00 a.m. the operation ended. The "Frøy Njord" started sealing work. Tthe casualty suffered a breach of about 1.5 meters on the starboard side where the hull was torn open by the rocks on which the ship was resting with a list to starboardd side.
