Bunker tanker broke in two while fuelling Marida Mimosa
In the Caland Canal in Rotterdam the bunker tanker "Vialis", 1500 ts (ENI-No.: 03150421) broke in two while fuelling the "Marida Mimosa" alongside the vessel on June 22, 2011. Diesel fuel spilt after the accident. The tanker "Hydrovac 9" was called to pumpe out remaining diesel. Oil booms were laid out, police and harbour service on scene as well as the anti pollution vessel "HEBO Cat 5". The tugs "SD Seal" and "SD Stingray" also attended.
