Leak in fuel wall

Sun Nov 01 21:14:17 CET 2020 Timsen

The 'Delphis Riga', enroute from Bremerhaven to Alboraya, was NUC after the engine alarm stared 29 miles southwest of Prawle point on Oct 30, 2020, at 8.20 p.m. The cause for the alarm initially was not yet known but an issue with the exhaust manifold is suspected. The crew was waiting for the manifold to cool down, for inspection. The crew replaced the engine fuel injector. The vessel dropped anchor in position 50 09 00.0 N, 004 54 00.0 W, in Gerrans Bay. The defect was discovered, and it was a leak in the fuel wall. Repairs were completed and the vessel resumed its voyage on Oct 31 with an ETA as of Nov 3.
