On Apr 8, 2011, at 7.40 p.m., a pusher train was caught by a wind gust after having passed the "Cape Unity" and allided with the Neuhof ferry pier in Hamburg when leaving its lee. Coming from the Rethe underway to the Tollerort Terminal in the Köhlbrand the pushing unit was pushed against the pontoon. The "Cape Unity" was underway to the Sandau harbour at that time. The access bridge from the pontoon was destroyed and fell into the water. Also the pilings were damaged. One barge was damaged above the waterline at the starboard foreship. Nobody was injured, dangerous substances not occurred. The pushing unit was towed to the Hachmann Quay by the tug "Hans".
