After the "Alexia" berthed at Houston, coming from Hamburg, on Jan 5, 2011, FBI started investigates whether the death of a Ukrainian sailor was a crime. He was found dead in his cabin New Year's Eve after he had a fight with another Ukrainian crew member. Eventually they both went to bed wounded, according to an eyewitness, but it seemed not so severe that the consequences could be deadly. At present, the cause of death is being examined. The FBI does not know how the matter should be further processed as the "Alexia" is a Dutch ship in international waters. But the Ukraine would be able to handle the case because the possible suspect and the victim are Ukrainians. On Jan 11 the "Alexia" sailed further to Savannah.
