The drunken captain of the "Union Moon" has been jailed for a year on May 31. The 55-year-old Miroslaw Pozniak admitted crashing his cargo boat while 3-times over the alcohol limit. The judge told Mr. Pozniak that the year-long sentence is to make it clear that the following of the regulations in relation to alcohol and also in relation to the charting and proper adherence to accepted routes is of vital importance.
