Introducing Port Reports: Your Daily Insight into Port Activities, Now Available in Cockpit's New Reports Mode
Now, you can receive a daily email containing a detailed PDF report summarizing port activities, including:
- Current vessels at the port
- Vessel arrivals
- Vessel departures
The introduction of this Port Report feature highlighted the need for a centralized location to manage all types of reports, including "My Vessel" reports. As a solution, we are excited to introduce the new Reports Mode, accessible through a dedicated tab in the vesseltracker Cockpit.
By accessing the new Reports Mode, you can effortlessly set up daily port reports for your chosen port. You have the flexibility to customize the report's creation and delivery time, and you can designate up to two email recipients for these reports.
S-AIS and D-AIS data now used to calculate port, berth, and anchorage visits
Vesseltracker has successfully integrated Satellite Automatic Identification System (S-AIS) and Dynamic Automatic Identification System (D-AIS) into our port call functionality.
By combining additional AIS sources with T-AIS sourced from our own terrestrial antenna network, Vesseltracker can provide a more accurate and comprehensive view of port, anchorage, and, berth activity than ever before.
The new feature is available on the following pages in Cockpit:
- Port page: Port visit history
- Port page: Berth visit history
- Ship page: Port visits
- Ship page: Anchorage visits
- Ship page: Most visited ports
Please contact customer support if you would like to learn more about adding Satellite Automatic Identification System (S-AIS) and Dynamic Automatic Identification System (D-AIS) to your account.
Scrubber data added
To help our users understand maritime sulfur emissions, we have now added information about which vessels have scrubbers installed on board, and when they were installed.
You can view this information under the "Equipment" section of "Details" in Cockpit.
Descriptive pop-ups in History Mode
History Mode now includes markers and fully descriptive pop-ups showing when, where and what has changed during a vessel's voyage. This feature allows you to quickly recognize more details about the vessel's past movements, such as stop and start events, port calls, and more.
Markers are automatically shown in History Mode, with key events marked with a pin. You can hover over any pin to see a pop-up with information about that point in time.
