Allision in Antwerp
The bunker tanker 'Whitchallenger' suffered rudder problems and allided with the 'YM Wellness' on July 19, 2020, in the port of Antwerp. The bunker tanker was moored at Schaar Ouden Doel. On July 19 at 2.30 a.m. it raised anchor and headed to Aberdeen, ETA July 21, 10 a.m. The 'YM Wellness' sailed from Antwerp on July 19 at 1.30 p.m., headed to Southampton, ETA July 20.
Seaspan Accepts Delivery of Fifth 14000 TEU SAVER Containership
Seaspan Corporation (SSW) announced that it accepted delivery of a 14000 TEU containership, the YM Wellness. The new containership, which was constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., is Seaspan’s fifth 14000 TEU SAVER design containership and sixth delivery in 2015. The YM Wellness will commence a ten-year, fixed-rate time charter with Yang Ming Marine.
