Repairs completed, ship saiing again
The "Nordic Stani" left Rauma again after repairs on Mar 5 around noon and was heading north toward Kemi, ETA Mar 6, 1 p.m.
Casualty anchored off Rauma
On Feb 24 at 2.30 a.m. the "Nordic Stani" was anchored about 10 nautical miles WNW of Rauma. The tug "Neptun" then proceeded to the port of Rauma. The casualty was towed into the port of Rauma on Feb 26 at 1 p.m.
Nordic Stani adrift off Ornskoldsvik
On Feb 22, 2017, the "Nordic Stani", enroute from Kaliningrad, where she had sailed on Feb 19, to Kemi, was disabled and adrift in the waters between Finland and Sweden at the height of Ornskoldsvik. The Coast Guard attended for about two hours and tugs from Finland for approximately 10 hours. The trouble had occurred alreday nearly two days ago. The ship was taken int tow by the finnish tug "Neptun" (IMO: 7917965) towards Rauma in the morning of Feb 23, sailing at a speed of about eight knots, ETA Feb 24.
