Ballast tanks breached in grounding
The "With Harvest" ran onto rocks at Tysnes in the Luk Sound on Apr 15, 2016, at 3.02 a.m. at the East side of Tysnesøy. The JRCC was notfied at 3.26 a.m. The crew of seven reported leaks in two ballast tanks, but they managed to get the ship off and proceeded to Leirvik on Stord, escorted by the "Rygerskil" and the lifeboat "Simrad Færder". In port a diver was called to inspect the hull. The grounding seeeed to have occurred because the autopilot did not work porperly. The police has been informed and boarded the ship in Leirvik for a routine check of the crew. There was no suspicion of drunken sailing.
