VOS Start at Damen-Oranje shipyard for the final outfitting

The newest fleet addition for Vroon Offshore Service the Dutch flagged 80 mtr long and 18.4 mtr width VOS START arrived from her builder China’s Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding. after her delivery voyage in Amsterdam where the vessel proceeded to the Damen-Oranje shipyard for the final outfitting before her first assignment Vroon’s first DP2 subsea-support walk-to-work (W2W) vessel, VOS START is at present getting equipped with a motion-compensated gangway system and an active heave-compensated crane. VOS START will shortly be delivered to her first charterer, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind, for the supply of offshore logistics support, accommodation and walk-to-work services during construction of the Walney Extension offshore wind farm.
