Engine damage off Iceland
The "Wilson Harrier" suffered engine damage on March 15, 2018, enroute from Grindavik to Bergen in the North Atlantic off Iceland. The ship was taken to Vestmannaeyjar where it moored at 4 p.m. She had lost engine power a few nautical miles south of the island of Vestmanneyjar at south coast of Iceland. The tug "Lodsinn" towed the vessel for shelter in the morning morning but, due to strong winds, it was not possible to tow the vessel inside of Vestmanneyjar harbour initially, so it remained anchored until improvement of the weather. On March 16 the ship was underway again, bound to Bergen, ETA March 17.
