Wilson Dover wreaks havoc in Skagen
In the morning of Aug 25, 2014, the "Wilson Dover" allided with the dock of the Sildemels Quay while entering the port of Skagen, coming from Bremerhaven, at 6.30 a.m. The ship had suffered an engine failure causing the vessel to be unable to stop and hitting the quay with significant speed, first causing some containers to collapse. Then the ship moved on and struck the transversing berth with its bulbous bow, leaving a large hole and causing the road to collapse. The ship suffered only minor damage and berthed at the factory quay until Aug 27 when it sailed to Hellvik with an ETA of Aug 28. Repair of lock allision completed
The "Wilson Dover" left the port Papenburg on Jan 15 at 2.30 p.m. again for order, after repairs to breaches and dents in the bow were completed and the ship approved to sail again, and dropped anchor in the Northsea off Schiermonnikoog the same evening.

In the afternoon of Jan 13, 2013, the "Wilson Dover" allided with the wall and the gates of the lock in Papenburg whilst entering port coming from Ijmuiden. The ship suffered scratches at the port side foreship and a dent in the bow. The gate of the lock was also bent.
