Swell of river cruise ship sank survey boat
The Dutch survey boat "Zigzag" sank in the middle lock of Terneuzen in the foremidday of March 15, 2019, at 10 a.m. The crew of two could be rescued. The boat was filled up by the swell created by the bowthruster of the "William Shakespeare" which had entered the lock at 9 a.m. enroute from Hans Weert to Ghent, ETA 4 p.m. The "Multrasalvor 3" was called to recover the "Zigzag".
