WHITE WING
A barge being pushed by the "White Wing" hit the US 62 Cumberland River Bridge at Lake City just before noon MAy 13, 2011, which is also known as the Blue Bridge and the Eureka Highway Bridge at the Livingston-Lyon County Line. An inspection of the bridge found no structural damage, only number of superficial scrape marks on one of the piers. The bridge has been reopened to traffic. The "White Wing" was pushing 12 empty barges when it reported hitting a pier on the US 62 Cumberland River Bridge at 11:08 a.m. The pilot reported about a one to two inch crease in his lead barge after the allision.
