The ferry traffic from Blexen to Bremerhaven was interrupted. Repairs will take several weeks. The landing bridge was pushed from its foundations half a meter. The ferry company Weserfähre GmbH inserted coaches as a replacement. The bulkcarrier was taken in tow by three tugs and berthed at the MSC Gate at the Strom Quay in Bremerhaven at 4.40 a.m. It left the port of Bremerhaven again on June 25 at 11 p.m., bound for Narvik as next port of call. Though the ship had suffered only slight damage, it was detained für inspections regarding the seaworthyness.
