Allision in Jeisk
The "Galisa" struck the docked "Volgo Balt 236" on Dec 30, 2016, in the port of Yeisk while mooring alongside. She suffered bow dent above the waterline with 150 millimeter deflection. The "Volgo Balt 236" was breached amidships at port side above the water line in an area of 150x25 centimeters. She also suffered a bent bulwark and a broken fender bar. The "Galisa" was loaded with 2817 tons of linseed, the "Volgo Balt 236" was loaded with 2901 tons of offal.
Grounding on the Don
The "Volgo Balt 236" ran aground in the morning of Feb 2, 2016, on the river Don, while en route from Azov to Ambarli with a cargo of peas. It got stuck outside the fairway, passing traffic was not affected. Two tugs were sent to assist.
Collision in ice convoy
On Feb 7, 2014, at 8.50 a.m. the "Volgo-Balt 236" was in collision with the "VF Tanker-1" in the Azov sea, while both vessels were proceeding in an ice convoy from Eysk port to Kerch Strait, odin.tc reports. Both vessels suffered hull damage above the waterline and were escorted by icebreakers to Kavkaz port for damage assessment. On Feb 10 both vessels were in the Kerch strait, the tanker en route to Feodosia port, the freighter en route to Bandirma.
