Allision in Le Palais
On July 13, 2018, the "Vindilis" struck the wharf when arriving at Le Palais, coming from Lorient. One passenger was injured. Divers were quickly sent for an inspection on the hull to estimate the extent of the damage. Apparently a small leakagewas spotted. The ship departed towards Port Maria at Quiberon where a further inspection was underway.
Repairs in Concarneau completed
The "Vindilis", 1299 gt (IMO: 9165566), left the port of Concarneau after repairs of allision damage on Feb 12 at 4.40 a.m. and headed for Quiberon as next port of call where she berthed at 9.45 a.m.
Ferry damaged in allision
In the morning of Jan 5, 2016, the "Vindilis", 1299 gt (IMO: 9165566), buffeted by rough seas and strong wind while sailing between Belle-Ile-en-Mer and Quiberon, struck the wharf at Port Maria, Quiberon. The allision caused a gap of a few centimeters in the bow of the ship. About 11 a.m. the ferry sailed to Belle-Ile without passengers and vehicles. The "Bangor" took over the service of the "Vindilis" which moored at the dolphins in the port of Pallais. The maritime authorities have decided to send the ship to Concarneau for repairs.
