Fishing vessel sank in Rørvik
On April 10, 2020, at 5.45 a.m. the 'Viknafjord' was found sunken at a dock in Rørvik and the Trøndelag police district notified. The owner was called and was on site at 9 a.m. The insurance company was also alerted. A bit of diesel leaked from the tanks, and the fire department was in place to recover as much as possible with absorbent lenses. The remainder was expected to evaporate and disappear very quickly. The lifeboat 'Harald V' jointly with the fish farm vessel 'Hermann Jr.', belonging to Midnorsk Havbruk, attended, and teams of divers of the 'KB Storm ' attached straps were attached to the wreck was eventually raised.
