Wappen von Boizenburg disabled again
On July 31, 2015, at 11.15 a.m. the "Wappen von Boizenburg" was disabled due to a rudder damage off Glücksburg in the Flensburg Fjordand went adrift during a trip with 45 persons aboard, among them 40 passengers and a crew of five. The lifeboat Werner Kuntze" of the DGzRS-station Langballigau which was nearby on patrol took the disabled ship in tow to Flensburg in winds of 4-5 Beaufort. Rudder failure off Flensburg
On July 17, 2015, the "Wappen von Boizenburg" suffered rudder failure off Flensburg. The ship was taken alongside the launch "Flora 2" and towed to the "Schiffbrücke" in Flensburg.
Unmanned ship drifted in the port of Kiel
On Aug 21, 2013, at 1.45 a.m. unknown persons losened the ropes of the "Wappen von Boizenburg“ at the inner port of Kiel so that the unmanned ship went adrift in the Hoern. After about300 meters it hit the tug "Odin" 132 gt (IMO: 6604640). Both ships suffered slight damage, the police started an investigation.
