Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
On Jan 23 sailings of the 'Vestrått' had to be canceled again due to technical problems leaving the connection between Brekstad and Valset with one departure less per hour being served by the socalled A-ferry with sailings at 5.30 a.m., 6.30 a.m. etc with the last ferry at 10.30 p.m. Departures from Valset are at 06:00 a.m., 07:00 a.m. etc. with the last ferry at 11 p.m. for the time being. The 'Vestrått' remained sidlined in Brekstad.
Ferry route suspended due to technical trouble
On Jan 17, 2020, at 11.35 a.m. the 'Vestratt' had to suspend its sailings on the aroute Brekstad-Valset after she encountered a technical problem. Travellers on the county road 710 between Orkanger and Valset were affected. Short past 12.30 p.m. the problem was resolved, and it was announced that the ferry would depart again as normal from 1 p.m.
Havyard Shipyard delivers VESTRÅTT to Fjord1
The last two double-enders in the three-ship ‘MM 62 FD EL’ series built for Fjord1, have been delivered by Havyard Shipyard in Norway.
