Engine breakdown off Tenerife

The "Vega Bulk" suffered an engine breakdown 90 miles North of Tenerife, in pos. 30 01 N 15 32 W, on March 5, 2018, at 2 p.m. The ship which was coming from Aveiro, was taken in tow by a Coast Guard vessel and arrived at Las Palmas at 11.30 p.m., where it berthed at the Reina Sofia Sur.

Water ingress off Ålesund

The "Trader Bulk" suffered water ingress enroute from Oslo to Buvika off Ålesund on Apr 23, 2016, and entered the port as a refuge. The fire department was alerted to the Stornes Quay at 3.40 p.m. The reason why the ship began to take in water was not known. At 4.20 p.m. the situation seemed to be under control and the fire rescue returned to the station. Also the Crew of the pipe layer "Kjell" assisted. The efforts to pump out the vessel by the Company Wangberg Larsen lasted until the evening.
