Grounding on the Wester Scheldt
In the morning of May 2, 2019, the loaded couple "Ursula Klaus" got stuck on the Wester Scheldt near Everingen on its way from Flushing to Rotterdam. She had got on the wrong side of the fairway from Borssele, which meant that opposite traffic had to divert quite a few times. The "Patrol" arrived quickly on the spot, followed by the tug "Bravo" around 09.15 a.m. After various attempts the ship freed itself at 09.20 a.m., but was not allowed to proceed further. It was advised to drop anchor for inspections by the traffic service that was en route from Hansweert aboard the "RWS 79". The "Ursula-Klaus" anchored in pos. 51° 21.79' N 003° 52.57' E. Barge suffered water ingress in Terneuzen
The fire rescue in Terneuzen was alerted in the morning of Mar 17, 2016, after the "Ursula Klaus", 1500 ts (EU-No.: 04502190), suffered significant water ingress at the Schepen Dike. The ship had arrived in port, coming from Gent, on Mar 16 at 6 p.m. A part of the cargo was lightered onto the dike after the crew remarked the water ingress around 7 a.m. The firefighters assisted with a submersible pump before Multraship Salvage and Towage took over and removed the remaining water from the ship before towing it to a shipyard with the "Multrasalvor 3" (IMO: 9635975).
