Injector damage off Dungeness
The "Ura", en route from Porsgrunn to Ceuta with a crew of 11 on board, suffered a defective injector on cylinder no.1, while transiting down the southwest bound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme off Dungeness on Aug 14, 2019. The vessel left the lane and was anchored in position 50 59 05 N, 001 02 08 E, about 5.5 nautical miles from Dungeness Point, to carry out repair works. The vessel was carrying 7082 tonnes of fertiliser as cargo. The ship resumed its voyage around 2 p.m. with an ETA as of Aug 18.
