Luxury yacht ran aground
The "Unbridled" with 14 people on board ran on May 14, 2015, at 11.05 a.m. in the Maloy Channel near Miami Beach. A safety zone has been established around the yacht after the Coast Guard Sector Miami watchstanders received notification that the motor yacht had got stuck. The Coast Guard Station Miami Beach quickly launched a boat crew who assessed the scene and established the safety zone. As part of the safety zone, the Coast Guard enforced a temporary no wake zone around the yacht and boaters had to remain at least 20 feet away. No injuries have been reported. The yacht's owner has contracted Tow Boat U.S. to determine the condition of the vessel. On May 15 she was docked in the Overtown area, Miami.
