Ferry suffered technical fault

The 'Tranøy', serving on the route Bognes–Lødingen, suffered a Technical fault on the passenger lift on Feb 17, 2025. The damage was expected to be repaired during Feb 18. As there was no opportunity to sit on the car deck during the crossing, the operator Torghatten Nord asked passengers who need a passenger lift to use departures with the ferry 'Barøy' instead.

Ferry suffered technical trouble

On Dec 10, 2024, at 7 a.m. the ferry operator Torghatten Nord announced that all departures of the 'Tranøy' on the Bognes–Lødingen route had to be canceled until further notice due to technical problems. The ship remained sidelined in Lødingen for the time being. The shipping company announced they would come back with more information when they know more about the scope of the issue.

Ferry sidelined due to technical failure

The ferry connection Bodø-Moskenes was interrupted on July 24, 2018, due to technical failure of the "Tranøy". The cancellations were extended until the morning of July 25. The return of the ferry was scheduled for 09.00 a.m. The ferry in the meantime was sidelined in Bodø for repairs.
