Ferry stuck under anchor chain
The "Topkapi" lost power due to an engine failure shortly after leaving the ferry pier in Harem, Istanbul, with 153 passengers and 60 vehicles on board, on Sep 2, 2015, at 5 p.m. The ferry drifted under the anchor chain of the ferry "Kaunas Seaways" which was berthed nearby. The "Topkapi" got stuck under the chain, suffering dented railings and other damage on the upper deck. The ferry was freed by a floating crane, which had been called from Tuzla, on Sep 3 at 1.30 a.m. and was docked at the Harem Ferry Terminal.
