Lifeboat assisted disabled fishing vessel

Wed Apr 19 21:46:52 CEST 2023 Timsen

On April 19, 2023, at around 6 a.m. LT the f/v 'De Lüttje-Büs 1' got its propeller fouled south of the Tertius Sand near Bpsum and contacted the MRCC Bremen, which deployed the lifeboat 'Theodor Storm' of the DGzRS station Büsum. The vessel had dropped anchor near the sand bank. The 'Nus Puk' was launched and entangled the propeller from the line which had fouled it. The 'De Lüttje' was then able to continue its fishing voyage.
