Fire on FPSO
East of Newfoundland and Labrador a fire broke out aboard the 'Terra Nova' in the night of May 20. The FPSO was undergoing maintenance works and had no oil or gas in its tanks. The fire was minor and could be extinguished by on-board-personnel. The extent of damages was unknown. Therewere 82 workers on board and there was no evacuation.
Worker injured in accident
A worker was injured on the 'Terra Nova' off Canada's East Coast in the night of Dec 29, 2019. He was hurt after falling from a ladder while conducting gas testing. An offshore medic and emergency response team was called to the scene. The injured worker was medevaced to St. John’s in the evening and received medical care in the hospital.
