Gozo Channel’s MV Ta’ Pinu back in full service
Gozo Channel’s MV Ta’ Pinu is now back in full service, following the fitting of two hoistable decks, enabling it to now carry up to 150 vehicles. The Finance Minister, Tonio Grech, toured the ship this morning and afterwards spoke in a press conference about alleged incidents that had happened earlier this week on Gozo Channel ships, confirming that an investigation was to take place into the alleged ramp incident. He also went on to apolgise for a occurance that took place last weekend and said that a ship should only wait up to five minutes after the scheduled departure time. Paul Curmi, the Gozo Channel Chairman said that this would help retain the scheduled timetable and provide an efficient service to its passenger.
