6 evacuated from grounded ferry

Six people were evacuated after the "Sveio" ran aground in the Kvinnherad municipality in Hordaland in the night of Jan 2, 2013, due to a power loss. No one was injured. The accident occurred in the the Fjellbergøy Sound in Kvinnherad. There were three passengers and a crew of three on board. The police was alerted at 9 p.m. Two hours later the ferry was towed to the Borgundøy. In the morning of Jan 2 the replacement ferry "Fitjar" was inserted. On Apr 8, 2011, at 3 p.m. the "Sveio" was stuck at the ferry terminal Fjelberg because of difficulties with a ramp of the vessel. The vessel remained at Sydnes, and the runs between Fjelberg, Utbjoa and Skjersholmane were delayed.
